Yes — use a personal access token, OAuth token, or GitHub App token (sent in Authorization headers). Some endpoints work unauthenticated but tokens raise limits and access.
Unauthenticated requests are limited to 60 requests per hour; authenticated users get a 5,000 requests/hour primary limit (higher for org-owned apps).
You may build commercial integrations but must follow GitHub’s developer and API terms, which grant limited licenses and impose use restrictions.
